Lost System Properties Window

For some reason I have lost the System Properties window when I right click
on My Computer and then choose Properties. That's the window with 7 tabs on
it titled General, Computer Name, Hardware, Advanced, System Restore,
Automatic Updates, and Remote. All I get is a window titled "My Computer" with
2 tabs labeled General and Shortcut. How do I get the System Properties
window back?

That means you are opening the properties of a normal shortcut. Try the same (right
click My Cmoputer|Properties) on Start Menu> My Computer shortcut. If System
properties window opens, then right click Desktop | Properties | Desktop tab |
Customize | Tick My COmputer | CLIck | OK | OK
