Program to use Win XP themes on Win 98

Hello people.

I found some nice Win XP themes, that look like Linux window managers, on the
net.

Problem: I use Windows 98! Is there any program to allow me to use themes or
"skins" on Windows?

WindowBlinds is just a memory hog and the free version lacks features.

Have you tried to use it to make themes?
You haven't? Maybe you should give it a shot! :)

Nope. But the question was confusing, I know.

The situation is:

- You probably know that Windows XP and 2003 (.NET) support this theme stuff.
- I've found some nice themes which I would like to use. But, I use Windows 98
SE.
- The themes change window styles and colors, among others things.
- There is a Windows 9x/ME program called WindowBlinds that does the same, but
it is slow and expensive. The shareware version is limited.
- Is there any other program to apply themes to Windows 9x? I've found a project
called BB4Win (BlackBox for Windows) which completely replaces the Windows GUI
but it is still a bugged beta.

Possibly Desktop Architect (PW2003):

This link has several xp theme managers. I know desktop architect is
freeware but I'm not sure about the others. This site also has many
themes and links to other thememakers.

Try LiteStep www.litestep.net

It won't give you XP themes but it will give you tremendous
flexibility in how you set up your desktop. It's stable and
continuously developed. The concept is similar to Blackbox.

I am using it right now. Nice shell for Windows. I like it because it has a lot
of configuration and is stable, and also behaves correctly under the Brazilian
Portuguese version of Windows (which I use).
