Program to find lyrics for musics

Chaos Master

Hello people

Once I had a program that helped in searching music lyrics, it was like a search
engine, but specific for lyrics. I don't remember the name of the program.

Now I just find Winamp plugins to do this. Since I rarely use Winamp, preferring
IrfanView to listen to media files, they are useless for me.

Anybody knows a program to help searching lyrics, but that isn't a Winamp
plugin?

Thanks

I used to do a lot of searching for lyrics and ended up deciding
Google was best.
Enter whatever snippet of lyrics you remember into the search box,
enclosed in quote markers ( " " ), and the artist's name if
possible.
This is faster than any lyrics search site I ever tried, with more
chance of a return; I would be surprised if a dedicated app was more
efficient unless it included my method in its search methods.

You could also try alt.music.lyrics for the harde to find lyrics.

LOL. Yep; I used to post there a lot, finding the lyrics using the
above method. :)
But you are quite right; it is an excellent group. I would advise
doing a decent search yourself before going there, though, and if you
ask for American Pie expect to die.

Hmmmm...
I know, If you ask for the Don McLean version wit lyrics explanation, You
get a lot of 'attention'.
I downloaded the version with the comments about the lyrics (like
http://www.rareexception.com/Garden/Pie.php). Don;t gonna argue about the
truth or fiction about the comments. I leave it for everybody on
alt.music.lyrics

LOL

Maybe I'll go ask about the meaning of Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit"
lyrics...

Or just pop in a question about Pink Floyd's "Darkside of the moon" with a
link to the "Wizard of oz" movie...

Nah.. that WOULD be trolling...

Almost. Since I don't use Winamp it's almost useless, but it supports other
media players. Looks good anyway. thanks
