PowerPoint to dusplay music lyrics

I was at meeting and they were displaying music lyrics on a overhead screen.
The computer screen was divided into two sections with the Left side showing
what was being displayed on the overhead and the Right side was for finding
the music, presentations, pictures etc. that would go on to the screen as
needed. I inquired as to what program they were using and was told that it
was PowerPoint. Does anyone know if this is an add on or is it part of the
orginal program. If it is orginal how to you activate it?
