program compatability

I have a game from Hasbor-Interactive that my son loves (Candyland) and it ran fine in Windows 98. Now that I've upgraded to XP I cannot get the motion (moving down the candyland path) to work. It's choppy or doesn't run at all. I've tried to run it in compatability mode but have had no luck... Any suggestions? (Oh, also, Hasbro-Interactive is now Infogrammes and there are no patches on their site).

Don't worry, your child will grow-up and want modern
first-person shooters and fantasy games.
