Not a Valid Win32 Application

When I try to start a game that worked with Windows 98 and Me, I get the
error message "Not a Valid Win32 Application". I have changed the settings
in the compatability mode with no luck. I would appreciate any suggestions.
What is more interesting is that I used a duplicated copy of a five year old
disc previously to see if it would work with no problems. Now that I've
bought a legit program.... Help.

Whenever I have encountered that, right click/Run as.../Administrator seemed
to work even though I already had administrative rights.

Thanks...I just tried it, but no luck.

SM - typically, this message indicates that either the file is corrupt, or
that it isn't a Win32 program, as the message states. Since you said that
you had this program working before, I would wager that the file is somehow
corrupt.

Try reinstalling the application, and verifying that the program file for
the program you're trying to run is installed correctly.
