Program can't access internet

Richard

I have three computers and have installed Antispyware Beta
on all three. On two of them (both Dell notebooks) the
program works perfectly. On the third, the program scans,
but the updater cannot access the internet. I know it's not
a port 80 issue, because all three computers share the same
wireless router, and the two notebooks work fine. Any ideas?

Note: the program perhaps should include a "detect internet
connection function". Every other program on the machine
has no problem and can go online without difficulty.

Hi

This is a wellknown bug with no workaround.

You can copy these 2 files from one of your working PC.s
for latest definition. Shutdown MSAS during this with a
right click on MSAS icon on systray.

/Program files/MSAS

gcThreatAuditThreatData.gcd
and
gcThreatAuditScanData.gcd

Check version with Help-About after exchange, latest 5707

MS probably knows whats wrong beacuse they havent asked for
more information.
Beta2 must be ready soon....
