Problems with .exe files

Folks,

Just back from a vacation and am suddenly having problems
running .exe files. Trying to access via icons on desktop
and via explorer but nothing works. Have even tried re-
installing software but continue to receive error message
saying that windows cannot find the relevant files.

Access to DSL / Internet has not been affected - But
every other .exe file has.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Go to sites like www.kellys-korner-xp.com and get the file
associations fixes. www.dougknox.com has tons of help as
well. These are two of the best from the MVPs that I have
seen. www.eldergeek.com www.blkviper.com are all super
sites for XP. Have fun.

Thanks for the tip. I went to www.dougknox.com and founda
file named xp_exe_fix that worked a treat!!
