Problem with Microsoft ergonomic Desk Set 7000

I am using the desk set with OSX and the receiver is a foot away from
the keyboard and mouse, but there is a lag or delay from typing to it
appearing on the screen. I am using the latest 6.0 drivers for Mac. Any
ideas on how to fix this problem?

Are the batteries new?

I don't have a Microsoft brand, but when my batteries are going low that
happens to me. Also, once in awhile I have to recynch the receiver with the
keyboard by pressing a button. I guess that changes the channel it's on or
something.. maybe one is clearer.

My batteries both say Good and I tried the button thing just now I will
see what happens. It is very annoying. As I type this on Thunderbird it
seems fine now. But I will check in Firefox. Thanks.

The problem is still there, does not matter what I do it has a long lag.
My other computer also has a wireless desktop and I have no problems
with that one.

Sorry, off hand I am unsure what else to say since those are the only two
problems I've had and either batteries or the button fixed my problem. One
time a reboot did.

Maybe someone else with an actual MS product will chime in.

This thing is driving me crazy, the delay is long until the letters show
up on screen. I just ordered a Microsoft Arc Mouse, I hope I didn't make
a mistake.
