Problem with FAST wizard

I am trying to transfer my files and settings from an old computer running
Windows ME. My problem is that when I run the wizard it does not allow me to
select the option "I want to create a Wizard Disk" i.e. it is greyed out.
The new computer does not have a 3.5 floppy disk drive. I do not have a
windows XP CD because Windows was installed by the computer hardware company.
I do not have a serial cable.

I'd be grateful for a solution to this problem

I'm having the same problem as you. I notice your post is over a month old
.... did you ever figure out how to fix it?

I realize this may be rather a bit late to help you out, but I have just
found out what your problem is (I had the same problem and a kindly soul
answered it for me). Unfortunately, the F.A.S.T. wizard DOES NOT SUPPORT
creating a wizard disc using a CD or a DVD. You can only use a floppy disk
or some other type of removable media, such as a flash drive. This can be a
real pain if your new PC does not have a floppy drive and your old PC does
not support USB 2.0.

As far as I can tell, if you are migrating from Windows 95, your only choice
is to use a floppy disk to contain the wizard. If you are migrating from
Windows 98 first edition, you can use a flash drive, but you have to download
a generic USB 2.0 driver for W98 from the Internet (Microsoft doesn't have
any). If you search on these newsgroups, you can find a link to a site which
has the required driver.
