Problem with DVD/CD-ROM Driver

My system: Microsoft Window XP
Home edition Version 2002

I wandere whether someone can help me, I've lost the driver Pioneer DVD-RW
DVR-K15 from my laptop.

This happened yesterday after an Apple update, accidentally enabled. I've
tried to restore the pc to the time before this had happened and the driver
was back but I lost iTunes wich has many important files.
I also checked the registry as recommended by an answer given to someone
else in Microsoft help but this did not work either.

Any idea on what may be wrong?

Try to undo the system restore and move your iTune files.
