problem loading links

When I click on a link from my home page (www.yahoo.com)
the world in the right hand corner animates but nothing
else happens. I have let it sit for a long time but
nothing happens. Also does the same thing if I type in
the address. I can change the home page to anything I
want and that comes up fine. It is IE6 SP1 on Windows
2000 SP4. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling IE6.
I have also ran adaware.

Try this.

Nothing happens when you click the hyperlinks on Web pages that are supposed
to open a new window.
Nothing happens when you right-click a hyperlink on a Web page, and then
click Open in a new window
