IE6 XP SP2 stops loading pages

Hi

I am running IE6 xp_sp2 and have a recurring problem. Links stop
responding. I can be browsing for a while and then if I click on a link on
the page or any of the menu options on the page, nothing happens. I see the
progress bar on the bottom of the page but the new page never loads. If I
have other ie windows open, they too are affected. There is no obvious time
that it happens and sometimes it does it more than others. Closing ie and
starting it again is the only way to get the functionality back but then the
problem might occur again after a while.

Has any one seen this before ? Any ideas what might be causing it ? Never
had the problem with ie6 on 2000 machines.

First thing to do would be to totally delete your History and Temporary
Internet Files *folders* in the problem account - using another account with
Admin. privileges:
