Printing in text printers from TS2K

Does anybody have any idea, why can't i print on a text
printer (dot matrix) which has been setup as Generic/Text
only on both sides (client and server). The server does
connect to that printer, and if i try to print bitmap, it
works fine. If it try to print character, the job
disappears, with nothing in the event-log. Furthermore,
the mapped client printer doesnot inherit the properties
of the client printer (Font Selection for the Generic).

Have you tried changing the driver that the terminal
server uses to print to this printer?

The driver used is the same as the client machine which
runs W2K Pro. If i am to change the driver, do have any
idea, which driver i should use ?

Hi,

I am also facing a printing problem in TS, I am using Remote access VPN client to connect to the server,
Every body is saying remote printer is not working Remote Access VPN, is works with the site to site vpn.
Could please tell what type network you are using, VPN site to site or VPN remote access or just dial-up
connection?
