Printer

I just purchased a HP with Windows XP - I tried to load my Kodak 5300 but I
keep getting the message that I need to plug in my USB cable from the printer
(it is plugged in). I have used other devices on this printer and they work.
I have also used my printer on my Dell computer with Windows Xp. Does
anyone know how to fix this problem.

Tried it - now it won't even recognize my software for the printer - it says
that there is "no printer software on the disc". I have loaded - removed and
tried reloading three times today. I love my printer - it works on my son's
dell computer with XP - but it won't load on my HP computer with XP?

Did you try inserting onto other usb port as well?
