printer freezing

sorry, don't know if you got my first note.
I was saying that after installin windows xp my printer
now freezes. This printer is only a few months old. I
bought it brand new. It dosen't freeze everytime but most
of the time. I carried both printer and computer to a tech
and was told that a file was missing from windows xp that
would cause the printer to freeze. Is this true and can
you help?

I highly doubt your so called tech's statement. Did you disconnect the
printer BEFORE installing XP?

If not, uninstall and reinstall as per:
