Printer error message

Hello,

I am getting the exact error message in Windows XP that is described in
knowledge base article # 835272. However this article only applies to Windows
2000. Obviously this bug has carried over to Windows XP. Where can I get the
hotfix for this issue that applies to Windows XP?

Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but to get a hotfix you have to call
for it. You give the KB article # when calling for a hotfix. So you'd have
to first locate the XP article. I don't know if one exists.

You might want to post to the microsoft.public.windowsxp.print_fax
newsgroup.

That's the problem, from what I can see the XP version of this article hasn't
been written yet. The 2000 article was just written in September so maybe MS
hasn't gotten around to it or this error hasn't been reported in XP. That was
the point of my post.

It was reviewed in 2006, but probably written a long time ago. There very
well might not be one. I would post to the print_fax group.
