Print Q does not empty

We have an HP 3300 we share on a small network. We can print jobs just fine, but the job will not delete itself after printing. We have to manually delete the jobs, or else they will print again the next day. This happens from any PC. We have deleted and reinstalled the printer. We have updated the print driver. We have changed the printer port from a share off of the server to TCP. Nothing seems to work...

We are all on Windows2000/SP3 or WindowsXP/SP1. Any suggestions would help.

Fred,
Do the jobs show up in the queue "Printed - Print Job Printing" or something to that affect?
I had a similar problem with queues on my print server, I ended up disabling "bi-directional communication" on the affected printers and the problem went away.

hope this helps,

regards,
JOSEPH

Disable Bi-directional. HP said they have the driver fix for this and it
should be on their website in January sometime.
