Previewing next slide in presentation mode

I saw a presentation the other day where the user had PowerPoint XP and on
the left side he can see a list of all the slides as they come up. Kind of a
preview. However on the screen, the audience only sees the current slide in
full screen mode. How can I set this up in PowerPoint 2000? Is this only a
feature in XP?

It was probably some sort of ORM (online rich media) converted from
PowerPoint?

Sounds as if the presenter was using Presenter View, which was
introduced in PPT 2002 (aka PPT XP). For previous versions, check the
info at

Hi Will,

PPT 2000 only shows the slide sorter view in full screen, so
unfortunately not with PPT 2000.

I imagine he was using a laptop. Ours are all XP so I can't immediately
check, but I think even with PPT 2000 you could use 'Set up Show' to display
one view on the laptop screen and another on the output to the projector.

This might be close to what they were doing. They did have one monitor but
they had a dual monitor card. So maybe they did use a third party program
to do this. I was hoping that there was a simple solution within PowerPoint
to make this work.
