slide preview during presentation

I went to a presentation the other day, and the the presenter was using a Mac
computer and microsoft powerpoint software.

I can see his computer screen throughout the presentation from where I was
sitting. What I saw on his screen was 2 slides side by side, one would be his
current projected slide and the other would be the upcoming slide. I may also
see a rehearsed timer below the slides to make sure that his timing is
correct.

Is there a similar feature in PC powerpoint?? Or do I have to download
additional software? I look around the net and I can't see such softwares
available.

Assuming your lappie has multimonitor support

Slide show > set up show tick presenter view and select slide show on
monitor 2
