Preformance Monitor

Hi,

I hope I'm posting to the right newsgroup.

I have a problem with one of my users. At certain times of the day his
computer/network is very slow.

I would like to use performance monitor to monitor his network connections
and try to find the bottleneck....

What counters do u turn on and how do I know if they are high or low?

Any help would be great!

Set PerfMon counters for Network Interface
Bytes Received/Sec &
Bytes Sent/Sec

Then monitor them when you notice the slowdown. There are
no specific high or low values - if there is steady
traffic when there should be no or little activity (like
the PC is just sitting there) you may have a trojan. We
had steady traffic awile back on our webserver & it turned
out someone had hijacked our IS ftp server.
