Hi Bruce,

One more for you:
Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 and Windows Media Server
Templates Must be Modified

Although this article addresses PPT2000 and NetShow, it
sounds so similiar to what you describe that it seems
worth a look.

Maybe the Broadcast add-in for PowerPoint 2003 has the
same issue with the TCP/IP port conflicts.

Anyway, it's worth a look if you'd rather use the
broadcast add-in than Producer.

update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

The server requirements for the online broadcasting service (for
multicasting PowerPoint online broadcasts) are unchanged from PowerPoint
2000 and 2002.

The online broadcasting service requires either:

* Windows NT Server 4.0 SP3
OR
* Windows 2000 Server

[IMPORTANT: PowerPoint online broadcast will NOT work with Windows Server
2003]

For more about the online broadcasting service, check out the Office 2000
Resource Kit:

If you (or anyone else reading this message) feel strongly about any
specific enhancement requests for the real-time collaboration and/or remote
presenting capabilities in PowerPoint beyond what is currently possible
with PowerPoint alone (or even with PowerPoint in conjunction with
Microsoft Office Live Meeting), don't forget to send your feedback to
Microsoft at:

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also why it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
