Just purchased new PPT 2003 to install to Dell machine with preloaded Office
Basic Edition (Word/Excell/Outlook). I get invalid Product Key message. I
verified correctness of sticker # and reentered it...still no go. Now what?

Did you buy a full copy or an upgrade copy? You need a full copy of PPT in
order to add it to that edition of Office.

I very carefully checked the numeral/alpha confusion problem. Not an issue
here. RATS, that would have been an easy fix. My vendor is Microsoft.

I know, I bought the update first, then figured out I needed to purchse the
full item. I did get it to install on a laptop (4 months old) but still not

Which OS do you have on the desktop? Office 2003 won't install on ME (though
I didn't think this was the message you got...)
