I received today my Beta 2 Kit 2003 CD Software Packet
for office edition 2. I installed all and went to the
recommended site for "technical upgrades." The product
key was installed at the start of the installation. Then
came the grand moment when I tried to initiate the
program by trying out PowerPoint. The program again
asked me for the product key which I installed EXACTLY AS
PRINTED ON THE APPROPRIATE STICKER FOR 'OFFICE BETA 2."
Back came a message that "you entered an invalid product
code".

What now? HELP!

I'm afraid we can't do much by way of supporting beta software here.

Did the beta software kit include any email, web or newgroup support links?
I'd check there first, but I wouldn't expect too much ... Office 2003 has
been released to manufacturing, meaning that the beta program will be
closing down.

You might be better off waiting for the actual product, which should be out
in October.

Double-check that product key. I know that on mine, I had the same error
message a few times until I realized that the "L" was really a "1"...or was
it the "0" was really an "O"...or maybe the "L" was really an "I." You get
the idea.
