Power off

When I ptell WinXP to power off, it just sits ther with the Windows is shutting down
screen.

Any ideas?

Any ideas?

If it ain't shutdown in 15 minutes, it probably ain't
gonna. Time to hit the big red switch (or, if it's a
laptop and all else fails, unplug the power and remove
the battery).

Things that could cause it? Near infinite. Crappy
device driver. Crappy hibernation software. Miscellaneous
crap. Crap, crap, crap.
