Popups and other unwanted junk

Like many, I am getting so thouroghly ticked off at the
constant pop ups and other sites that magically appear
and screw up my screen. These maliscous ads keep
crashing my os (xp) causing me great frustration almost
to the point of giving up on home internet access at
all. My PC at work runs just fine. T-1 and Norton
antivirus protection. At home, I use SBC's DSL service
and Norton. For some reason, this one is constantly
being bombarded by the pop ups and such. Does anyone
have any clue or tips for me? Thanks

Try to use Rich Explorer Bar-you will find it useful. It blocks popups,
unwanted URLs and does a lot more for you. After I tried it, I resolved
almost all of usual problems with MSIE

I like Google's toolbar. Not only does it put their search
engine in a convenient spot & give you some pretty nifty
add-ons, the popup blocker is very well done. It alerts
you whenever it's blocking & gives you the option to
accept popups for that site/page, on an individual basis.
Best of all, it's free.
