popup porn window on internet explore browser

Someone please help me figure this out. Whenever i launch
internet explorer, a popup porn window is also launched.

I have tried everything i know to find out how to get rid
of this annoying problem.
i executed virus software, adaware, registry mechanic and
none of those programs found anything wrong.

if i close the popup window, it comes back a few seconds
later.

my operating system is windows xp, internet exploret
version 6.0.

any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
