Pop-ups

I have just recently been getting annoying pop-up ads.
Unfortunately, having a little one in the house and at
the computer, playing games, she asked what a penis
enlargement was! I was mortified, to say the least and I
find that all these ads should be off the internet
altogether, however, I'm primarily concerned about my own
pc and have fears of "invasion" of privacy and most
certainly peace of mind.
How do I rid my pc of them? Pls don't suggest purchasing
anything since I'm on a limited income and cannot afford
to protect myself and my family in a costly manner.
Thank you

Pop-up blockers just mask the problem and do not remove the ad parasites
that steal system resources that can cause your applications or system to
crash.

The best ad parasite removal tools are Ad-Aware available from
http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ or
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ and SpyBot available from
http://tomcoyote.org/SPYBOT/ and update the reference files
through their Online update function. Run them and select all items and
remove.
You may have to reboot and rerun a couple of times to completely remove
them.
Also run the Immunize function to
prevent these nasties from installing again.

Install a good HOSTS file to help stop these nasties from installing.

SpywareBlaster

Update the reference file through the online update function.
