Pop-ups

I am having trouble with "pop-ups" from "WinFixer 2006". I get about 6
messages from the advertisement and by clicking the close button on the very
last mesage, Internet Explorer closes and I am returned to my desktop. Any
solutions as to how I might get rid of these pop-ups forever? Thanks

I tied SuperAdBlocker but I was having trouble loading my personal settings
and Super AdBlocker has determined that some sort of Adware/Spyware was
causing my problem and the have not been able to detect same.

I am still looking for a solution. Have tried Super AdBlocker, however my
computer and Super AdBlocker are not compatible. Anyone out there have any
solutions.
