Pop Up Blocking

I downloaded this on advice as my PCtools Spyware Dr was
consuming too much CPU time. However this Microsoft app is
letting Pop-ups through though seemingly defending
malicious events. Do I have setting wrong or is this not
a feature?

Microsoft AntiSpyware is not a pop-up blocker.

Microsoft Antispyware won't block popups. It should help remove spyware
which is generating those popups, though.

Have you done a full, deep scan of your system with Microsoft Antispyware?

What was found?

If you do another such scan, is anything now found?
