HI,
i was wondering if any1 could help me, i have just got broadband, my
computer came up with a message "Generic Host Process for WIN32
Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for
the inconvenience." The internet would then not work unless i restarted
the laptop. This could happen very regularly during the day. Then i
noticed the broadband connection had more transmitting than recieving,
i then got the laptop, reformatted etc, so it would be nearly like a
brand new system. When i connected to the internet for the first time
after reformat, Norton saw this 'generic host process Win32' thing i
clickd to block it accessing the internet then there was completely
nothing happening! I rebooted it with the system restore disk. this
made things worse, startup and shut down now take ages and when using a
programme, it doesnt appear in the toolbar beside the 'START' menu. i'd
be grateful if any1 has any suggestions! thanks
