Please avoid Vista like the plague

The facts are that many people ARE buying it and love it, and have no
problems with it. Those who upgraded, and had problems, probably had
a screwy system to begin with.

Wrong, try again. Most of the Vista ssytems we've serviced lately have
al lbene NEW and FRESH installs, not UPGRADES from old XP installs or
what not, and thye have bene NOTHING but trouble. So don't try to tell
me there aren't any problems with it. Brand new HPs and the like, and a
couple home builts to boot.
Note that it's only the small minority of people with Vista problems
that write in complaining.

Sweet hairy moses are you really this disconnected from reality? It's a
HUGE majority that has issues with it. This news group alone provides
neough evidence of that, if not the countless web forums flooded with
Vista problem posts. Who are you really trying to kid here?

Most recent idiotic quote added to KICK (Klassic Idiotic Caption Kooks):
"So when I see it, I slam it! Even if it discredits myself, I have no
problem with that. As long as you all go down, that's all that maters. "

I'm not a Democrat or a Republican. As far as I am concerned,
politicians nowadays are all like streetwalkers, willing to sell out to
the highest bidder. The difference is that streetwalkers are up front
about what they do.

DOD 6.22 and WFWG 3.11, on a VirtualPC virtual machine boots in a blink -
literally.

If only I stil had them. I'd love to give it a shot for "old time's
sake".
