I have noticed that too, it happened to me as well. I think it is a memory
buffer issue. There are no settings that I can find to increase the buffer,
but reasoning behind thin is because when I click pause for a few seconds
then play again it played fine for a while until it happened again. It has
only really happened when I have a big filmstrip/storyboard that I am
editing. Hope this helps.

I recently installed Movie Maker on my XP Pro PC. When I import a MPEG and
