Program name: Clint's Wallpaper Master
Category: Desktop
Sub-category: Wallpaper Switcher

URL : http://thestaticvoid.net/code/10

My opinion - Great options and has the best randomize function for
people with a lot of wallpapers. Real fast too. Remember to download the
update

----------
From the site ---
New orientation type ‘scaled’. This is a bit like Windows’ stretch
feature, but it maintains the correct aspect ratio of your image, and as
an added bonus anti-aliases (i.e., makes it smooth) This makes for very
nice looking pictures.
Tracked folders. Designate a couple of folders to track, and whenever
you save a file to it, it will automatically get added to your active
list (very handy). It will remove files when you delete them, and
delete/insert when you rename files. This makes it very easy to keep
your lists synced with your wallpaper directory. Note that all
sub-folders are automatically tracked.
Customisable hot-key to change wallpaper
Microsoft Internet Explorer integration. When you right click and select
an image to be `set as wallpaper’, CWM will save the file for you and
add it to your current list.
Quick tray list selection – switch between lists in two clicks
Resolution/bit depth change from tray
SmartSwitch – CWM will hold off changing wallpapers if a application is
currently maximised.

Really?
From the web site:

ICS Configuration 1.5
This program is free* and you can download it by clicking on the link
below.

*Free is always nice, but it takes time and energy to write software, even
small programs like ICS Configuration.

If you like the program and decide to use it regularly, please send $10 US
to help fund additional work on it. Please mail a check to Harley

I guess it would depend on your interpretation of 'regularly' wouldn't it.
I don't use it regularly, so for me it is free. I don't think anyone would
use it 'regularly' because it primarily a use once/twice and forget program
(unless you change your local IP's often). Donationware perhaps.
Definately not shareware, crippleware, nagware or commercial software and
doesn't seem to fit any other 'ware' category that has been listed in ACF
that I can think of.

Rather than just posting "This is *not* a freeware", please enlighten us
with your humble opinion as to it's ware type so it may be corrected?

You're right. I actually had typed that it was donationware, but some
fat fingers (mine, evidently) accidentally deleted that line. Sorry for
the resultant ambiguous (and seemingly curt) post.

So, having said that:

From the pricelessware.org web site:

<q>
Donationware: monetary contribution requested (optional)

Freeware: Legally obtainable software that you may use at no cost,
monetary or otherwise, for as long as you wish.
</q>

By definition, ICS Configuration is not a freeware. It is a
donationware.

There. Everybody's happy now... }:O)

"... easily draw a cool looking calendar at the desired location on
your screen in the desired style.... Since this program draws a
calendar literally on your desktop, you can locate the calendar
anywhere you like even when your wallpaper is tiled. This can be done

program is just for drawing on your desktop, once drawing is
completed, you can exit the program rather than keep it active in your
system.
The program supports ... Stretching the Desktop Wallpaper to Fit the
Screen.
The program offers limited support for the Active Desktop. As an
additional feature, Desktop Calendar can stagger your wallpaper's tile
patterns either vertically or horizontally. If multiple users use the
computer, each user may personalize the calendar settings. You can set
special dates such as your birthday indicated in the calendar. You can
also set a reminder message box to appear on the day at start up."

US, UK, and Japanese weekend rules), and even set icon text background
color or make it transparent.

I nominate one I forgot and use everyday, hehe:

Password Database
http://welcome.to/skolchin
Direct link here, but bypasses authors menu:
http://www.geocities.com/skolchin/pswdb.html

The Passwords Database program automates log-ons by providing logon
names (accounts), passwords and other fields when a program requests
them, thus eliminating the need to type them each time manually.
For example, when a Web site asks for an account and password name, the
program can enter both fields and even press "Submit" button, so you'll
pass the logon procedure whithout even clicking a mouse.

The program is not limited to work with Web sites only - it can automate
logons to any Windows program.

Of course, having all passwords in one place could be dangerous. But,
the program can encrypt all the information using industry-standard
algorithm RC4. The latest versions can also use even more "pretty good"
security - it is possible to encrypt a file with Phil Zimmermann's PGP.
