This is a slighty different GUI/Options and handling then what eMule
does, also I find more efficient and more dedicated while downloading.

Others may feel this way also, if they would care to reply.

Thanks. I'll use your nomination as a second to eMule then. The version
can be discussed in this thread: [PL] 2004 Discussion - Program
Descriptions

I'll revise the eMule description after the version is agreed on.

(Okay, first time I do this, but here goes.)

I nominate the following:

PROGRAM NAME: DIR2HTML v1.1.0

ware information: freeware

Size: 58 kb

Installs or not: Yes, installs.

OS: Win32 (all that is specified, works under my Win98SE just fine)

language(s): English

DESCRIPTION:

DIR2HTML creates an HTML index from a file system directory. This is
useful for building file lists, cataloging contents of CD-ROMS, etc.
The program can index either a single directory or multiple
directories at once recursively.

Changes in this version (optional):

Distributed with Nullsoft installer
Added support for .URL files (can now extract links from them)
Added progress window during recursive indexing
Added option to include a blank column for custom use
Added option to create links only to directories
Added sorting capabilities
Made changes to user interface, new options
You can now create recursive indexes in alternate paths
Bugfix: cleaned up directory recursion code
Bugfix: rare filename parsing bug
No longer resets options and directory; easier batch processing
Many other improvements under the hood

I would like to nominate Sphygmic Spreadsheet, in the Category
Business: Spreadsheet. This program is tiny, but it works well for
basic business or financial record-keeping, and it serves a need for
those who choose not to use Microsoft Excel, and do not wish to use
Open Office - the 63mb alternative.

Sphygmic Spreadsheet (freeware) (unsupported) OS:
Win9x/NT/ME/2000/XP
(English)
Why waste money and over 180MB of disk space to get feature-bloated
Excel? With the Sphygmic Software spreadsheet you get all the
functions you need in less than 4MB! And all this for free!
Build formulae using the 125 built-in functions, including text
handling, statistical, date/time, and financial functions. Worksheets
can span 256 columns and 16,384 rows, enough for almost any task, and
you can work with multiple sheets at once. You can import industry
standard CSV files and read and write Excel 4.0 files.
The built-in charting module is both simple to use and highly
configurable. Select a chart range and you get an instant chart. If
you need a slim, fast spreadsheet that won't bury you in irrelevant
features, download the Sphygmic Software spreadsheet now!

I think someone should make a website with only freeware, no
installation needed software.
Or is there one already?

This one for example:
HP : http://www.tinyapps.org

On the faq page, you'll see that 'green awards' are given to 'system respectful' freeware.
