If you skip the "The address of this page has changed to..." and scroll down
that page, there is a working "Download it" button, whose link is:
http://www.webattack.com/php/download.php?id=105088

I clicked it and the download started.

Thanks. I downloaded it, but haven't found any information on system
requirements. I tried going to the new website, but was only able to
connect to the download, backing up a directory got an "unauthorized
access" error.

Does it run under Windows98?

I run it on a Win98 system, with no problems.

It worked, here.
I downloaded it from there.
???:-/

I downloaded it on Win2000 and it works well.
But now when I click on the original defrag prog which comes with
Windows, Diskeeper starts!
Is there a way to have both programs available?
I'm not completely sure, but I feel that Diskeeper is faster while the
original prog was more accurate.

Thanks again. :)

I commented on this in my post of 9/29/04 entitled "Defragging or
Defragging-Related Tools," and provided the download URL. Thanks a
lot for paying attention to my post. I'm glad you rediscovered the DL
URL about a week later.

C'ya.

Anyone else had this problem?

Anyone else had this problem?

It is the regular behaviour of Diskeeper, not a problem.
I remember the first time I installed it, I was worried seeing it had taken
the place of the Windows original defrag and I uninstalled it. Then, seeing
that the Windows defrag was still there, sound and safe, but as always very
slow, I installed again Diskeeper.
I was looking for a download link for another user, I's been using Diskeeper
since some year and it works very well here on XP (now SP2).

Hi Ben,

I did not ignore the post but will plead guilty to neglect.

I had flagged your 9/29 post for further attention and didn't get back
to it until yesterday. I've revised Power Defrag now too.

Thank you very much for the information. :)
