'ping' is not recognized as an internal or external command...'

when opening command to ping, I'm getting the following error:

"'ping' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file."

I'm convinced that it's the reason for my wireless ad-hoc network no longer
working.

anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

James,

The ping command is processed by "C:\WINDOWS\system32\ping.exe". Is
"C:\WINDOWS\system32" in your Path?

Cheers,
Chuck
Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.

Where are you trying to enter ping?
Also, when using ping, you must enter "Ping"Then the IP address that you
want to ping""
