Pictures Not Displaying on web pages

I am encountering a problem in IE 6.0.2800.1106 where pcitures do not get
displayed when I am accessing web pages. If I right click in the picture
that has not been displayed and select "Show Picture" from the pop-up menu
then it will show up.

I have recently tried to re-install Internet Explorer 6.0 and after the
successful installation and re-boot the problem has NOT been solved.

Any suggestions,

I am having the same problem after upgrading for security
updates. I go into view and change from western european
(ISO) back to western european (windows) and the pages
load correctly. The down side is I am having to do this
every time I load a page. I am searching for a solution.
If I find one, I will let you know.

I also am having the same problem. do you to have a DSL service? I
think it may be related to a firewall issue. I have tried everything
except wipe and load my computer. I think I might have to do this.
Can anyone else help us?

Having the same problem, doesn't appear to be a firewall issue. Won't load
thumbnails, in all things, expedia. Had another machine hooked up without
problem to same DSL connection. This is sure infuriating!
