picture quality is very bad---dark and blurry

i upgraded from me to xp.
my Kodak digital cam/webcam will
not work on xp---
i have checked kodac webpage and no drivers available.

i have tried *several different* cameras since the upgrade
and ALL of the cameras pictures have very bad quality.
dark and blurry.
any ideas on what would cause this?
im getting tired of buying cams and
