Photoshop 7 install fails after Antispyware install

Dear all,

Just a new flaw of MS Anti-spyware: I wanted to re-install
Photoshop 7 and noticed that it hanged after 99%. I tried
everything untill I stopped Anti-spyware completely. The
installation went perfectly afterwards.

I know Adobe software is crappy, the former versions in
particular. But this is something that should be looked
into. Still a lot of people use Photoshop 7.

Windows XP (latest updates, Dutch); MS Anti-spyware
(latest updates); Photoshop 7.0 (English)

Hi Theo,
I usually stop MWAS and my AV program when I am doing a known install. It
seems to block collisions from taking place.
