PhotoGallery

Everytime I boot up the computer I get a screen that says the system is
trying to load PhotoGallery. If I do nothing and let the system run thru its
paces, I get a screen that says that the information is on a disk that is not
in the system, and instructs me to put the disk in. I load my HP Photosmart
2600/2700 cd and PhotoGallery loads. If I don't put the disk in I have to
click on cancel three times to get rid of the screen. Everytime I reboot the
computer I have to go through the process all over again. Any thoughts on
what causes this, and more importantly, how do I get rid of it? I downloaded
the latest software/upgrades from HP but that didn't help.

Thanks/Tony D.

This is a common error with HP printer software. You install something
completely unrelated and - boom! - Photo Gallery is bugging you. The
solution is to put in the CD that came with your HP printer when you get
the error message from Installer. You may need to point Installer to the
Photo Gallery folder on the printer software disk.
