Phone call notification

Until Gateway serviced my computer last month, I have had
a facility that with GTW Modem V.92, Windows XP,
and "call waiting" from my phone company; would alert me
to an incoming phone call. This is very importmant as I
have dial up and do not have a dedicated line.

I used to get an orange rectangular pop up on the bottom
task bar that would flash the name of my Modem when some
one was attempting to call. If I clicked on the orange
flashing rectangle, I would get the option to accept call
or ignore. If I clicked on accept and lifted the phone,
I would get the call. Gateway is not familiar enough
with Windows XP to restore this service. Can you help?
