Persistent error message when closing down windows explorer

Grant Cooper

I am receiving a persistent error message when closing down internet
explorer (I have upgraded to version 6.0, but I also had this problem
on the earlier version).

The message reads as follows:

'The instruction at "0x030837d0" referenced memory at "0x030837d0",
the memory could not be "read". Click on ok to terminate the
program.'

(The number changes each time, but begins 0x0 each time.)

There is nothing on the microsoft website regarding this problem. I
have run a thorough virus check which has found no problems. I have
'uninstalled' IE via the add/remove windows components from the
control panel, but have also had no joy.

Has anyone else experienced this problem/know a solution?

Thanks for any help.

Download all of these utilities and scan the system.

Note: Spyware removers are rules-based and are updated very frequently as and when new malware is discovered. Therefore, update both of these tools before scanning, very important.
