Persistant adware

Running XP Pro
Just did windows update and have all the security patches
Have up to date Norton AV active
Have done complete scrubs with both SpyHunter and SpySweeper (both of which
located and removed trojans etc.)

I still get an occasional pop up porno ad window while browsing G rated aka
safe sites.

Suggestions or ideas?

I don't feel like purchasing every anti spyware product on the web, but I
need to get this system cleaned up.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
