Permissions Denied to Calendar - New Install XP Pro No Exchange Server! Can't get into appts or add

New Outlook User 2003 Pro - new boxed install, but long term Outlook user with 300 filters etc, so I use this all the time.

Newer to advanced calendar functions - Help!
Everytime I try to add an appointment (or get into one!) it says - can't open, everytime I doubleclick or go to file >open it gives me this message.

"This message with restricted permission cannot be viewed in the viewing pane until you verify your credentials. Open the item to read its contents and verify your credentials."

All standard methods to open a file - double click on item, file>open are denied. I can't get to an address or phone number of an appointment. This is a little scary here - appreciate youre help.

As well - it says - "Can't Save" when I try to type into the calendar.

I did upgrades, detect repair.

Thanks for any wizards out there that will save a lost female in Old Town Alexandria VA.

You may want to try clearing the forms cache.

If you close outlook
Perform a FIND (click on desktop and press <F3>)
(If you are using XP or W2K operating system be
sure to look in hidden files)
Look for FRMCACHE.DAT file.
Delete it from the find window.
Restart Outlook.

When you restart Outlook it will rebuild a fresh new
FRMCACHE.DAT file.

Having said this, there does seem to be more here than just that.
Did you upgrade your operating system too? What O/S are you
using (Windows 98, Windows XP, ?)
