XP pro network issue with exchange server

Okay we have an exchange server working as a file/print
server.

All computers but one have win98 on them with no issues.

The new computer has xp pro on it and can log into domain
with no problems. About 25-50% of the time when I try to
open a file on the network I get an invalid file error
that then may crash the program I am in (autocad). Also
if I then try to reopen that file sometimes it says it is
now read only...but nobody has it open. The only way to
fix this is to log off the network.

What can be causing this problem?

Gimp,

We are an engineering company and have a similer problem as well. We are
running a peer to peer (see my post) and experience the same problem
sometimes. Don't have a solution, but just thought I would let you know
that your not alone.
