Permantent music?

If this is the wrong group please forgive me, the Media Player group was no
help.

Perhaps this is a system problem. When I listen to music with the Windows
Media Player it works fine, however... when I close the program the music
continues to play. The only way I can get it to stop is to reboot the
computer! Please help.

I too have run into this issue. Instead of rebooting your computer you can
right-click on your taskbar and go to Task Manager, go to the Processes tab
and look for wmplayer.exe. You can right-click on it and end the task.

More often however my problem is opening a .wav file attachment (for our
voicemail system) and sometimes it will open up the Media Player window to
play it and sometimes it will just launch the process and give me no window
to close (which is when I perform the above step).
