Vista x64 Media Player bug

Double-click an MP3 file. Media Player launches.

Close Media Player, either via the red X or Alt+F4. Media Player
closes, but music continues playing!

Or is that just me?

Not just you,
and not just x64;
happening on x86 also
definetly a bug;(which was reported prior to RTM, but not fixed).

As Jeff notes, well known issue and not just with 64 bit. I can reproduce it
on my test machines without too much trouble.

Same as mine (Vista x86) as well... player close but sounds still on...
And also, I wonder when the player is playing media files, my
card reader light keep blinking... had anyone have this issue also?
