Performance Epson C83 vs. 915?

I am considering buying either an Epson C83 or 915. Both are about the
same price, $300 here in Australia.

The 915 is 6 colour while the C83 is 4.
The 915 prints slower.
The C83 offers twice the horizontal resolution.
The C83 uses fade resistant "Durabrite" inks. This is important, as I
am a professional photographer and will be selling the prints.

Which of the two printers would produce the best quality photos on 100
x 150 paper?

Assuming a relatively even color usage, how many photo prints on 100 x
150 gloss paper can I expect from each printer before having to
replace the cartridges?

Is it true the cartridges can't be refilled due to the chip and ink
level indicating software? And in the case of the C83 there being no
generic replacement for the Durabrite inks.

Sorry, that's three questions, but all sufficiently related I hope.

BTW I definitely don't want an HP and Canon seems to be falling behind
in the ink technology department. Epson is my preferred brand. Since I
will be selling the prints, quality is more important than cheap
running costs.

Thanks for any advice.

The best looking prints will be from the 915. It uses a dye based ink that
has a wider color gamut. It also uses 6 inks where the C83 uses 4.
