Perflib - 1015

On a Windows Professional 2000 (SP4) workstation I received next messgae in the Event Log:

ID: 1015
The timeout waiting for the performance data collection function "PerfProc" in the "C:\WINNT\system32\perfproc.dll". There may be a problem with this extensible counter or the service it is collecting data from or the system may have been very busy when this call was attempted.

What's the problem? Can I troubleshooting this problem?
My comuter is PIII-933, RAM 256 MB.

I ca.t find Q839264 article in the Microsoft Knowledgebase for hotfix
applicable to Windows 2000.
Link Program to disable performance counters at bottom the page fail.
And I have't beta version Windows 2000. This is retail version.
